At Later Life Concierge, we're committed to providing all round life-coordinating services for our senior generation, ensuring their well-being and comfort. In the summer of 2023, we were proud to complete Dementia Awareness Training, further strengthening our resolve to understand and support seniors and their families.
Fostering Understanding
Through Age Scotland’s Dementia Awareness Training we covered a summary session on each of the following. Later Life Concierge are not Dementia Practitioners but this training allows us to further understand the challenges faced by families.
What is dementia?
Understanding the brain and the signs and symptoms of dementia
Diagnosis and support
Communication
Inclusion and stigma
Prevention and living well with dementia
Wellbeing and mood
Creating enabling environments
This training has deepened our compassion and knowledge, equipping us to have a knowledge of the difficulties faced.
Comprehensive Life Coordinating Services
We offer coordination and assistance in coordinating household and personal administration, the sourcing of care, downsizing property and moving and/or all aspects of transitioning into residential care if and when required.
Later Life Concierge is dedicated to enhancing the lives of seniors through life coordinating services for all concerned. Our unwavering commitment ensures that seniors and their families receive the co-ordination and attention required.
We work with others supporting the family - legal teams, health and social care professionals, powers of attorney, financial guardians, medical input.
